From Yorkshire with Love

A quick note to wish you all a Happy New Year from a wintery Yorkshire!

Tom Williams and I will reflect more fully on our first year as Participate World once 2026 gets cracking in earnest, but one of our resolutions for the coming year is to further widen the community of community sport leaders, practitioners and supporters.

With that in mind, we’ll host an online event with J Simon Rofe from the University of Leeds and Dr Jo Clarke from Leeds Beckett University at 14:00 on 21 January to explore how to take forward the Declaration on Community Sport for Development and Diplomacy that flowed from the Leeds Summit in September.
